Wash Farm, near Colchester in Essex, is the base of German Dressage Horse UK which is owned and run by Garry Williams and his partner Verity Boys since their move from Norton Heath Equestrian Centre in March 2006.
German Dressage Horse UK began with the importation and sale of German bred horses but now Garry offers a full range of services including stallions at stud (see the Stallion tab on the For Sale/At Stud page), livery, breaking training and competing.
Garry has competed in all disciplines over the years with his early training at Waterstock with Yogi Breisner and Lars Sederholm. He is currently training with Ferdi Eilberg. These days his speciality is dressage with a bit of show jumping for fun.
Partner Verity Boys has herself begun making a mark on the dressage world after her roots were firmly in showjumping. She worked for showjumpers Graham and Tina Fletcher as well as Derek Ricketts before developing a passion for dressage. She has competed at the Nationals and was Novice Restricted Champion 2008, and Reserve Champion in the Elementary Restricted in 2010.
Garry has been successfully producing and selling young horses for over 20 years with various National wins and placings under his belt including numerous Young Horse Championships. He represented GB and was placed at the Young Horse World Championships 2007/2008. He has built a reputation for matching horses to riders and the ability to spot horses with all the correct ingredients to make them successful.
