The mare is a very nice 7 year old by Laurentianer and she herself has been successful in the Dressage Arena. 20/03/08 Showmaker's First Daughter![]() A healthy strong filly foal was born at German Dressage Horse on Good Friday 20/03/08 out of a Florestan mare and by our resident star Showmaker. We are very excited about her future! 18/03/08 Showmaker at Stallion Parade![]() Showmaker will be at the Stallion Parade at Moulton College in Northampton on Easter Monday 24th March. It is the annual Parade for the newly named Perfomance Sports Horse and Ponies (PSHP) formally the British Warmblood Society (BWBS). There will a large number of Stallions exhibited inlcluding Showmaker as one of the hightlights. 15/03/08 Pompidou selected to represent GB![]() Pompidou a 16.3hh bay Westfalian gelding sold by us in 2003 (pictured here with Garry )has been selected to represent Britain in the Young Riders at the CDI at Addington at the end of March. He is still owned by Sarah and Keith Wrigley but is now partnered by young rider Daryl Ware. Pompidou has also been long listed for the Europeans plus has qualified for the Advanced Medium at the Winter Championships. Good luck to PP and Daryl. 05/02/08 Patchetts Winter Semi Success for German Dressage Horse![]() Don Pedro (Pictured) ridden by Sam Smyth has qualified for the Winter Finals in the Prelim coming second with a score of 70.97%. Sam bought Pedro in January 2007 and has done a fantastic job of producing him. She also was 4th in the Novice Restricted so missed the double by one place and now faces a nail biting wait to see if she receives a wild card. The same is true for Chris Jensen who was 4th on her lovely gelding Perfekt Mind in the Novice Freestyle to Music. She got a great score of 71.94%. He was bought from us in 2006. Fingers crossed for the both of them! Forest Gump qualfied in the Advanced Medium by coming 2nd with a score of 67.54% with our neighbour Mette Assouline on board. Mette has joint owned the graded stallion since he was sold by us in February 2007. Other very notable performances were Mark Ruddock who rode Capito 1 to 6th place in the Novice Freestyle to Music with a score of 70.46 for his owner Michelle McCabe. The ever consistent Georgina Stuart was 7th in the Advanced Medium and Louise Samuels was 8th in the Prelim. Well done to everyone and good luck in the finals. 28/10/07 Showmaker Graded with BWBS![]() Showmaker was presented to the panel of Judges at the British Warmblood Grading. He did not have to go through the performance test as he had already scored so highly at his test in Germany. He has now been accepted by the BWBS and his progeny are eligable to be registered with the society. 04/09/07 Reserve Champion at Bundescahmpionate in Germany![]() Ghost 41 won the Silver medal for his new owners at the famous German Championship. The 4 year Westfalian stallion by Going Top gained a score of 82% partnered by Geertje Heese. This followed his success at last years Bundeschampionate as a 3 year old where he also finished in second place with Wibke Stommel on board. 30/08/07 Showmaker Double Hickstead Champion![]() Showmaker and Garry Williams add both the National and International 5 Year Old Titles to their rapidly growing collection. Showmaker fought off opposition in both classes at the Hickstead International show beating Carl Hester's Valegro into second place with scores of over 89% in the National class and 83% in the International. "Showmaker is so smooth to ride he is like driving a Bentley. It is such a pleasure to ride him." Says Garry of the Westfalian stallion. Top Lot at German Elite Auction![]() A stunning 14.2hh pony by Going Top was sold by German Dressage Horse Uk at the April Elite Westfalian Auction. The 14.2hh black stallion called Ghost was the top pony lot making 40,000 Euros. He was second in the final at last years Bundes Championate losing out by 0.5 of a mark. He gained a 10 from the test rider along with 8.5 for his trot and canter. |
