10/02/10 Two Regional Champions at Patchetts
The ever consistent Sam Smyth and her 8 year old bay gelding Don Pedro by Don William, purchased from German Dressage Horse 3 years ago, won the Elementary Restriced regional and secured their ticket to the Winter Championships at Hartpury in April. They were Champions last year in the Prelim at Hartpury. Well done Sam and Pedro.
The other win came from Dressage rider Stacey Munson and the 8yro gelding by Showstar, Show Biz (pictued). Stacey bought him from German Dressage Horse 3 years ago and has done a fantastic job producing him. She won the very strong Medium Open class on a fantastic score of nearly 72%. She also did very well in the Advanced Medium open coming 3rd and qualifying for the Winter Championship with another good score of over 69%.
24/01/10 PSG Win for Forest Gump
Mette Assouline and 9 year old breeding stallion Forest Gump won the PSG at the first prestigious show of the year at Addington Manor. She scored over 69% to take the class in very good company. Forrest Gump was bought as a 3 year and sold to Mette Assouline at the beginning of his 6th year. Forrest was also 2007 6 year old reserve champion at the SHearwater final.
Hickstead Masters 21/07/09
SHowmaker and Garry Williams were crowned Medium Champions at the Hickstead MAsters Championship with a score of over 73%. Second place was also taken by former German Dressage Horse owned Streisand with Michal Assouline. Interestingly both Showmaker and Streisand are both by the same sire Showstar.
Other combinations to do well include Rubini Royale with reserve champion in the Novice Championships. Forest Gump had a 5th with Mette Assouline in the small tour. Ehrendour and Georgina Stuart were placed 7th and 6th in both the Small Tour competitions.
June show round up

Royal Rispe owned by Sarah Wrigley and ridden by Kerry Allen was crowned Restricted Novice Champion at the Sheepgate Tack and Togs Championship (pictured). Kerry has had a very successful month with other wins at Prelim on Royal Rispe and wins in Novice and Prelim on Sarah Wrigley's other horse Don Larino.
Rachel Maddocks and Rocktissimo also has a good show at Sheepgate being reserve champion in the Prleim finals as did Sam Smyth with Don Pedro with 3rd in the Elementary Final. Sam also had wins in Elementary qualifiers at Hastinwood.
Lord Nelson and Victoria Robinson have had 2 wins at Norton Heath in the Elementary.
There are numerous combinations that have qualified for the MAsters Championship at Hickstead including Lorraine Sattin and her lovely gelding Rubini Royale in the Elementary and with John Salter in the Novice, Garry Williams and Showmaker in the Medium, Elvis and Sean Burgess in the Novice.
Adam Smyth won the Elementary at Hastingwood on Desporadoes 18 and Tracey Nelson was the winner of the Novice qualifer to complete her summer regional qualifcation on Charleston.
Katherine Brace and GDH Firecracker won the Novice Qualifer at Norton Heath and her pupil Trevor Downham was 2nd in his first Advanced 100 on Champus.
Lastly Verity Boys and breeding stallion Astral qualified for the winter championships in the Novice Combined Training.
25/05/09 May Show Round Up

May has been a very busy time with many of our sold horses out competing with their new owners. Below are some of the successes over the last month.
Tracey Nelson bought Chaleston last summer from German Dressage Horse. He is now a 5 year old and has been out competing and won his first 2 Novices. Good job Tracey.(Pictured)
Michal Assouline had a win on his 7 yro Showstar mare Streisand in the medium open at Bluegate Hall with just under 70%.
Sarah Alden won both Novices with excellent scores of 74.17 and 72.50 at Laughton Manor with the lovely Oldenburg gelding Dolcetto.
It was head to head in the Prelims at Bluegate Hall for Karry Baker riding Unno and Kerry Allen with Royal Rispe. Karry won the first prelim with Kerry in second then the tables were turned in the qualifier with Kerry the winner.
Our own Verity Boys won the prelim at Norton Heath with Fire and Ice a 4 yro grey gelding by Freudenfeur at his first show with a score of over 71% ).
Don Pedro and Sam Smyth were back on winning form after Winter Champioship success in the Novice and Elementary at Norton Heath with scores of over 70%.
Jess Delve and her lovely chestnut mare Allegra by Abanos won the Novice 37 Open at Norton Heath.
Charlotte and Desporados have again qualified for the Trailbalzers Championships by winning the Elementary second round. Junior rider Charlotte was a winner at the champioships last year.
Finally in the young horse classes Sally Hargreaves and Rocksport a 5 yro gelding by Rockwell won the Badminton qualifier with a fantastic score of 83% and were 2nd in the International 5 yro with 79.6%.
13/04/09 Winter Champions!

Horses bought from German Dressage Horse had a brilliant show at this years Winter Championships at Hartpury.
These include a brilliant win from Sam Smyth on Don Pedro a 17.1hh bay westfalain gelding in the Prelim with a score over 73% - 4 % above her nearest rival. See picture of this pair by kind permission of Image Point Photography. They were also 6th in the Novice Restricted.
Other combinations to do well were Chris Jensen and Perfekt Mind with runner up position in the Petplan Elementary Open.Also reserve were Charlotte Holes and Rockspring in the Petplan Medium Restricted. Rockspring has always had great succes at these champioships being champion twice in 2006 and 2007 in the Prelim and Novice Combined training respectively.
Garry Williams missed out on being Champion by a whiskar in the Elementary Open with a huge score of 74.17% and also 3 rd with over 70% in the Medium Open.
Emma Smith had a very successful first time at these Championships with a 6th in the Petplan Novice and 8th in the Prelim.
Rebecca Patmore and Shining Light were ever consistent with 6th in the Inter 1.
Michelle Watson and GDH Florestans Fire came 10th in the Medium Restricted and Verity Boys and Astral 53 came 6th in the Prelim Combined Training.
Junior rider Lizzie Clive and Raze An Issue won their qualifying round int he Perplan Prelim with a very high score of 71.36%.
Well done to everyone who was placed and everyone who qualified.
23/02/09 Sam And Pedro Do The Regionals Double!

Samantha Smythe and Don Pedro took two Regional champioship titles at Addington 22/02/09. Sam scored over 70% in both the Prelim and Novice Restricted classes. She nearly didn't make it after Pedro fell in the trailer a few weeks previous and cut himself. But in the end it did not hold him back!Well done Sam and Pedro.
Other winners were Garry Williams on Showmaker who won Elementary Open and were second (and a bit tired!) in the Medium Open to qualify.

14/02/09 See Showmaker In Action at Hartpurty this weekend
Showmaker will be attending the stallion parade held by Performance Sport Horses and Ponies at Harpury College on the 14th February. There will be a parade on a large number of Dressage Stallions with SHowmaker being one. If you are considering him for your mare or just want to coem and see him in action please feel free to come down and see him. 16/11/08 Showmaker at National Convention
Showmaker and Garry Williams took part in the National Convention at Addinton Manor. This years trainer was Jean Bemelmans, Belgium born with German Nationality who trains the Spainish team. The other riders selected were Charlotte Dujardin - Valegro, Michael Eilberg and Woodlander Dornroschen, Charlie Hutton - Abira, Judy Harvey and Fitzcerraldo and finally Jackie Beaven with Donner Dancer .
Jean helped Garry with Showmakers changes as well as starting to teach him piaffe. Jean's verdict on Showmaker was that he is a top international horse in the making.
