Jan 2012 Addington High Profile Show

Good results at the first High Profile Show of the year from former German Dressage Horse Uk's horses. These include runner up in the Grand Prix Special for Mette Assouline on Forest Gump (pictured). Roland Tong on Pompidou also scored highly in his first Grand Prix and was 4th in the Intermediate II. Also the ever consistent and impressive Stacey Munson on Showbiz, with high scores in placings in the PSG with her best result a second in the Intermediate I. Lorraine Sattin's Rubini Royale was well placed in all the Advanced Mediums with his highest being a 3rd in the freestyle. Other horses to score well at their first efforts at new level were Lord Nelson ( Darren Mattia) in the PSG, Louise Clark and Feiner Pino ( Adv Med and PSG)and Georgina Stuart on her self produced Ehrendour in the Grand Prix. All the classes were very large with many high scores and top combinations competing for the honours. Well done everyone.

21/04/11 Showbiz First PSG Win

Stacey Munson and riding her own Showbiz (pictured), a 9yro westfalain gelding by Showstar bought from German Dressage Horse as a 4 yro won their first PSG at The College Keysoe with a fantastic score of 72.63. Stacey and Showbiz will be contending the Premier Leagues Shows this year and are hoping to qualify for the Nationals.

18/04/11 12 Horses At Winter Championships

Over the 4 days of the Winter Championships there were 12 horses competing that originated at German Dressage Horse.
In the Intermediate 1 on Saturday's Gala evening Roland Tong and the ever consistent Pompidou were 3rd behind Pauls Hayler and Michael Eilberg.
Other horses placed were Charlston ridden by his owner Tracey Nelson in the Elementary restriced Music (pictured) got a 5th with 70%. Claire parker and Donimo were 3rd in the final of the Petplan Novice Open with Cheryl Hammerson and Diamondez also finalists in this class after finishing 7th in the first round.
Feiner Pino was 6th in the Petplan Advanced Medium Restricted and both Sue Maddox and Sue Jones on Brioni Star and Ziranto respectively made the finals of the Novice Restricted Area Festivals. As did Lucy Owen with Abydos and Emma Smith and Lancer Evolution in the Elementary Restriced Area Festival.
Sarah Wrigley and Don Ramino did very well coming 12th in the Novice Open as Sarah had hung up her competition boots a number of years ago and became owner watching her horse Pomidou become so successful with Roland Tong.
Finally Chris Jenson and Perfect Mind who are regualrs at the Winter Championships qualifying at every level on thier journey so far competed in the Medium Open Music and Rebecca Hughes rode Lorraine Sattin's gelding Rubini Royale in the hotly contested Medium open.

For the first time since he has been based at Wash Farm in Colchester Garry Williams has 3 spaces to take horses in on full livery to train and compete on behalf of their owners. 30/10/10 Win for Garry at Bluegate Hall

Garry Williams won his first Novice test on the 5 yro Sherwood T at Bluegate Hall in Essex with a score of 72.86%. This is Sherwood's first Novice test so he has part qualified for the winter championships.

03/10/10 Showmaker Son Top lot at Elite Auction

Status Symbol, the 3 yro stallion by SHowmaker, bred by Magdelena Post, was the top selling lot at the German Westfalain Elite Auction with a knockdown price of 250,000 euros. He was sold to the Hamburg region of Germany. The other lot by Showmaker, Shukran bred by Birgit Bucker was also sold for a good price of 54,500 euros and was sold to Bayern in Germany.

Verity Boys and GDH Flashdance (pictured) were reserve champions in the Elementary restricted with a score of over 69%, just beaten into second by the very last horse in the competition. Emma Smith also had a very successful show with a 3rd place in the Novice Restricted on her hughley successful partner GDH Lancer Evolution. He has been a great campaigner for Emma who bought the 8 yro gelding as a 5yro. She has been to the trail blazers final and the area festival finals where she always has top 10 placings so now she has added the Nationls to her tally. She has also just won the Area Festival semi final at Elementary so their ticket to the Winter Championships is already booked!
In the Small Tour chmapionships Pompidou and Roland Tong were 7th in the Inter 1. Shinning Light and Rebecca Hughes were ever consistent with a 4th in the PSG and 7th in the Inter 1 freestyle. Mette Assouline also took 6th place in the Inter 1 on Forest Gump a 9yro licensed stallion by Florestan.

01/09/10 Showmaker's Offspring selected for Elite Auction Germany

Two stunning 3 yro's by SHowmaker from his first year of covering in Germany have been selected for the Elite Auction at the Westfalain Society in Germany.
The dark bay stallion Status Symbol(pictured) was bred by Magdalene Post out of her mare by Landro L and a bay gelding named Shukran from a mare by Mon Cheri. For video clips see the link here www.westfalenpferde.de/english/index.htm

14/08/10 Area Festival Champions

German Dressage Horse celebrated the crowning of two Champions at Norton Heath Equestrian Centre's Area Festival.
The first Champion was Louise Clark on her 9 yro Westfalain gelding Feiner Pino (pictured)in the Advanced Medium restricted with a fantastic score of 68.24%. Louise has produced him up to advanced level and is hoping to start at PSG this year.
The second winner was Sue Jones on her 6 yro gelding Ziranto bought 18 months ago from GDH. She was crowned champion of the Novice Restricted with a score of 70.77%.
Others to also qualify for the Winter Area Festival Championships are Emms SMith on GDH Lancer Evolution in the Elementary Restricted and Jess Delve and Allegra III also in the Elementary restricted. Sue Maddox and her 5 yro Brioni Star also qualified in the Novice Restricted.
