01/09/10 Showmaker's Offspring selected for Elite Auction Germany

Two stunning 3 yro's by SHowmaker from his first year of covering in Germany have been selected for the Elite Auction at the Westfalain Society in Germany.
The dark bay stallion Status Symbol(pictured) was bred by Magdalene Post out of her mare by Landro L and a bay gelding named Shukran from a mare by Mon Cheri. For video clips see the link here www.westfalenpferde.de/english/index.htm

14/08/10 Area Festival Champions

German Dressage Horse celebrated the crowning of two Champions at Norton Heath Equestrian Centre's Area Festival.
The first Champion was Louise Clark on her 9 yro Westfalain gelding Feiner Pino (pictured)in the Advanced Medium restricted with a fantastic score of 68.24%. Louise has produced him up to advanced level and is hoping to start at PSG this year.
The second winner was Sue Jones on her 6 yro gelding Ziranto bought 18 months ago from GDH. She was crowned champion of the Novice Restricted with a score of 70.77%.
Others to also qualify for the Winter Area Festival Championships are Emms SMith on GDH Lancer Evolution in the Elementary Restricted and Jess Delve and Allegra III also in the Elementary restricted. Sue Maddox and her 5 yro Brioni Star also qualified in the Novice Restricted.

August 2010 Regional Successes

Two of the regional Champions were found by German Dressage Horse. Roland Tong riding Sarah Wrigley's Pomidou won the PSG at the Eastern Regional at the College and Verity Boys with GDH Flashdance (pictured)won the Elementary Restricted at Central regional Addington Manor.
Others to qualify for the National Championships at Stonleigh 9-12/09/10 are in the Inter 1 Pompidou again plus Shinning Light owned by Felicity Scott and ridden by Rebecca Hughes. This combination also qualified for the PSG along with Mette Assouline and Forrest Gump.
Michelle Watson and GDH Florestans Fire compete in the Medium Restricted. Emma Smith and GDH Lancer Evolution in the Novice Restricted. Celia Henderson and Florestans Kavalier in the Elementary Restricted. Fee Liddle and Phoenix in the prelim. Finally in the Young Horse Championships Nicole Mellows and her lovely 4yro Durrenmatt.

22/07/10 BEF Futurity Champion

Showmaker's Prada a dark bay filly by SHowmaker out of an Oldenburg mare by Florencio was the overall Champion of all the futurity entries at the College Equestrain Centre in Keysoe. SHe scores an outstanding mark of of 9.04 which puts her as one of the highest scoring youngsters in all this years Futurity competitions. SHe is one to look out for the future.

15/07/10 Hickstead Masters Medium Champion

Michal Assouline and his 8 year old mare Streisand (pictured) by Showstar were this years Medium Open Champions at Hickstead with a score of 72.60%. SHe was bought in 2006 and has been produced by Michal ever since. In the PSG Masters Pompidou and Roland Tong were 2nd with a fabulous score of 71.08%. Pompidou was also invited along with Shinning Light and Rebecca Hughes for the 3 star International PSG where they both finished with good scores of 66.158% and came equal 14th.
Other qualifiers were Sue Maddox and Brioni Star in the prelim, Claire Parker and Donimo and Sam Smyth and Don Pedro both in the Elementary.


2010 Winter Championships

2010 Winter Championships

Charlotte Holes and Rockspring were crowned Advanced Medium Restricted Champions in the Petplan Winter Championships. Ever consistent Rockspring was bought by Charlotte from German Dressage Horse 6 years ago and has won both the Prelim and Novice Combined training Championships plus was runner up last year in the Medium Restricted.

Other combinations to do very well include Stacey Munson on Showbiz who were theid behind Maria Eilberg and Charlotte Dujardin in the very hotly contended Advanced Medium Open.

Also Sally Hargreaves and her 6 yro Rock Sport, bought 2 years a go from GDH by Rockwell(the same sire as Rockspring coincidentally) were just pipped at the post in the Novice Combined training by finishing second.
Sam Smyth was 7th in the Elementary restricted and Rebecca Hughes was 5th in the Inter 1 on the former PSG Champion at this show, Shinning Light.
Well done to all these and all the other GDH clients that qualified for the show.

March 2010 Show round up

Sue Jones and Ziranto (pictured) won in amazing style at Wix Equestrian Centre in the Prelim with a score of 86.82 with amazing marks including every riders dream, a 10 for one of her 20m circles. She has also won 2 x Novice qualifiers at other shows so has the regionals at Prelim and Novice to contend.
Other winners include Kathryn Brace on her Furst Piccolo gelding GDH Firecracker who won 2 x elementary's to qualify for the regionals, Emma Smith won the novice at Norton heath on GDH Lancer Evolution, Carole Pendle won a prelim on Fahrenheit, palamino pony Monticello won an elemenatary at Burrows Court Farm with his new rider Ms Hewitt,Louise Clark won an advanced class on Feiner Pino, Weltano won his first 2 prelims with 71.6% in both piloted by Debbie Randall.

Showbiz selected for Equine Pathway

Stacey Munson and her 8 year old gelding by Showstar bought from us in 2006 have been selected for the lottery funded scheme to spot furture World Class talent. Stacey will have the benefit of training, vets, farriers, nutritionists, physios etc for herself and for Showbiz.

10/02/10  Two Regional Champions at Patchetts

The ever consistent Sam Smyth and her 8 year old bay gelding Don Pedro by Don William, purchased from German Dressage Horse 3 years ago, won the Elementary Restriced regional and secured their ticket to the Winter Championships at Hartpury in April. They were Champions last year in the Prelim at Hartpury. Well done Sam and Pedro.
The other win came from Dressage rider Stacey Munson and the 8yro gelding by Showstar, Show Biz (pictued). Stacey bought him from German Dressage Horse 3 years ago and has done a fantastic job producing him. She won the very strong Medium Open class on a fantastic score of nearly 72%. She also did very well in the Advanced Medium open coming 3rd and qualifying for the Winter Championship with another good score of over 69%.
